Dekton Trillium Countertops
Volcanic Shades of Gray and Brown
The star of the Dekton Industrial Collection, Trillium, makes a case for engineered stone surfaces in their finest form. This intriguing surface by Cosentino is composed of up to 80% recyclable material taken from excess materials used in the Dekton manufacturing process. The Dekton’s surfaces, including Trillium, are created using a blend of natural raw materials including quartz, porcelain, and glass that is fused and compressed using high pressure to create a slab-like surface that is at once dense and compact.
Celebrated for its sustainable nature, Dekton Trillium is eco-smart and received the silver award for Eco-Sustainable Design at the 2019 International Design Awards.
The first ecological color in the Dekton range, Trillium, boasts a mysterious aesthetic inspired by volcanic stones. The result is a moody mix of intense gray, dramatic black, and rusty earthen shades. The visual texture and pattern variations mimic the look of aged and oxidized stainless steel. Visually the surface looks rough and variegated yet is sensually smooth and sleek to the touch.
Highly rated for its impervious nature and formidable fortitude, Dekton Trillium stands up to harsh elements and rigors of daily use with its resistance to scratches, stains, heat, abrasions, freezing and UV rays. You’ll find this durable surface ideal for busy households with high-trafficked kitchen and baths. The surface also withstands outdoor applications and is ideal to use in outdoor patios, kitchens, bars, and more.
Its large format, up to 320 X 144 cm, makes it work tremendously well for a massive kitchen island or wall application. Depending on the size of your application, you may only need to use one slab so you may enjoy a seamless, uniform surface.
The look of Trillium is decidedly industrial with its metal appearance, mottled pattern, and authentic coloring. It melds nicely with stainless steel cabinetry and other solid stone surfaces in the bathroom or kitchen. For a touch of drama, install matte black hardware, faucet, and sink in the contemporary house or loft.
Alternately, matte black cabinetry with Trillium countertops make a powerful statement. Add a striking visual contrast by pairing it with matte gold or brass hardware, faucet, and black sink.
The earthy visual texture and coloring also lend itself to rustic applications with rough-hewn wood and hand-wrought metal elements in the modern lodge or cabin.
Dekton Trillium makes for a warm and inviting surface in commercial settings as well, such as a restaurant, pub, office, or store with rustic or modern styling.
